Juliet’s birthday. Not the best
timing, coming just after Christmas, and we put off her party for the time
being. However we do go out for a family
meal in the village, where she tackled a Beefeater Chocolate Challenge.
The high winds brought down a couple of old trees and Roger spent some
time cutting logs from them to add to the woodpile.
They made a fine blaze on the
cold winter nights.
