Jay’s New Camera

September 2002

As a reward for taking her Grade 7 Violin exam – which was a fraught experience all round, I can tell you – we bought Jay one of those credit-card sized digital cameras.  She had coveted one for some time.  Here are some of her first results.

On Saturday morning, we walked along the road leading into Toddington:  a view across the fields to the right; the church spire, visible to the naked eye, but not to the camera, is to the left of the clump of trees.

On the way back, the road leading up to the roundabout …

… and the bus stop where Jay catches the bus to school.

At last, the weather is warm enough for a barbecue in the evening.  Roger is cooking.

This was Jay’s first course …

… and this was her last.
