At the
weekend, Jay invited her best friends from school to come for a sleepover
party. The idea was to have a barbecue
and sleep in tents. |

All was
prepared, even the table laid. |

About an
hour before we were due to start, the heavens opened and thunder and
lightning echoed round for the next three hours. Teresa had to cook conventionally though it
was still much appreciated, and the girls had to spend the night in the
living room – not that they intended to get much sleep. |

Luckily, the next morning was reasonably fine, and they
enjoyed a few hours outside, mainly on the trampoline |
