Valentine’s Day Quiz
Femmes Fatales
For our
Valentine’s Quiz this year, the answers are all femmes fatales – women
from both fact and fiction who were loved or revered, and sometimes
feared. Regular readers will discover
that none of them appeared in last year’s quiz about romantic couples, although
one of last year’s heroines was expensively impersonated by one of this
year’s. They are in five categories. The questions are all allusions to the lady’s
life or circumstances, but two of them, questions 14 and 15, also contain a
literal indication of the answer. The
pictures, where they appear, are related either to the question or to the
answer immediately following.
The usual totally imaginary prizes will be awarded
to the winners. Answers in a couple of
weeks.
